The Bay Philharmonic announces its First Annual Gala

at Hayward City Hall’s Rotunda

Saturday, September 23rd at 6:30 p.m.

Dinner reception featuring major stars of the Bay Philharmonic, Diablo Ballet dancers, Mayor Mark Salinas, State Senator Aisha Wahab, and more!

VIP Reception at 5:30 p.m.

(Hayward, CA), August 31, 2023 - The Bay Philharmonic is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for its First Annual Gala extravaganza taking place on Saturday, September 23rd at 6:30 p.m. in the beautiful rotunda of the Hayward City Hall on 777 B Street in downtown Hayward.  This event will feature appearances by major stars of the Bay Philharmonic as well as guest dancers from the Diablo Ballet.  The evening will also feature a spectacular dinner and decor designed by Splurge Catering. VIP patrons will receive premium parking, special dinner seating, a pre-gala champagne & cocktail reception hosted by Artistic Director Jung-Ho Pak, and a Bay Phil swag bag.

This special fundraising event marks the new arrival of the Bay Philharmonic’s complete season to the city of Hayward’s Chabot College. There will be a large selection of live and silent auction items including a stay in Alsace France, a stay in a Monterey waterfront condo with the use of a sporty Tesla, special wine and food offerings, and much more.  All proceeds benefit the Bay Philharmonic and the BayPhil Youth Orchestra.

Mayor Mark Salinas will be present to open the ceremonies as well as special guest State Senator Aisha Wahab. The Gala Honoree is Artistic Director of the Bay Phil Youth Orchestra Judy Lam, who is also a well-known community activist on behalf of the arts and social services.

The Bay Philharmonic’s season-opening concert, "Broadway’s Best", premiers on Sunday, October 1st.
